After such an amazing trip to Uganda about four months ago, I honestly believe that Africa is a very big growth area for our business and what we are trying to do. With the right opportunity the sky is the limit, and after meeting some very motivated people who are looking to make something of themselves I have decided to go back and help build the Personal Development scene in the country!

My team has a mission of “Empowering people to empower themselves and others”, and one of the places that most people have embraced this concept is in the African continent. Having a moral and empowering opportunity has proved its worth here and seems to be growing like wild fire! For myself this is very evident in Uganda!

But I just wanted to write very briefly about my previous trip to Uganda.
Ultimately it is a place unlike many I have been to; my trip was filled with Royal treatment and people so friendly; it was as though we were family! And please bear in mind that I have traveled A LOT!

One of the first things I noticed about my trip to Uganda was that it was seriously played down on the global brands!!! I mean no McD’s, no pizza hut or starbucks etc. And those guys are EVERYWHERE else around the world that I have ever been!

So in a way it was actually quite refreshing! There were only two major brands present- Coca Cola (figures!) and Zain a telephone company that was EVERYWHERE in Uganda and is also very present in the Middle East!

While in Uganda, I visited 3 places, Entebbe (closer to the airport), Kampala and Jinja. While in Jinja we had a chance to go to the chimpanzee sanctuary which was on an island located in the middle of Lake Victoria; a lake larger than most countries! Our boat ride to the island was over an hour long and there was no shore in sight! It really felt like the ocean.

Not having been there before I was not sure what to expect but I found the people friendly, the crime rate low and the food very fresh! Our hosts were the most hospitable people in the world and left us denied of nothing.

They also catered to our group’s curiosity of a country that we had never been to and provided us with tours of the city and activities to keep us busy! Ultimately we were treated like royalty and have very fond memories of the people and the place.

This makes me all the more excited to be going back to help build Success University in Uganda! Stay tuned for an update of how it all goes!

Nido Qubein’s story is an inspirational one, He came to the United States when he was just a teenager and with only $50 in his pocket, and very little English in his vocabulary. A reason why this video is possibly so fitting!

This is a minimum requirement if you want to keep your blog active and healthy.

The number 1 question is, what the hell do i write about each time????

1. Trends in the industry: Check out other blogs or subscribe to other news articles, see what information other people are putting online about your industry.

3. Make a top 10 of different interest topics related to your business.- Notice how i am doing a little version of this in this post

4. Interview an Expert – interview an expert and ask them a few questions related to your industry

5. Develop a tutorial – teach people how to use a service or give them something that will benefit them

6. Review a product or service related to your industry

7. Write about how you helped a client of yours achieve results and how they benefited from your product or service

8. Report about events – Write about events that are happening in your area or industry and give feedback to your subscribers.

9. Solicit questions and answers – Ask people some questions to encourage interaction

10. Write to people that are new or just starting to learn about your industry – educating people that are just thinking of getting into your industry can create long term subscribers if you do it correctly!
