Dubai 2nd Annual Direct Selling Festival
Its amazing how far direct selling has come over the last few years, a recession proof industry that in actual fact booms during these hard times! This made it an opportune time for the Annual Dubai Direct Selling Festival.
I think the need for something like this was quite evident in Dubai, a city that was built on tourism and that has suffered huge losses over the last few months. After all, 80 to 90% of all people in Dubai were foreigners, so what happens when foreigners lose their jobs, they leave the country.
What happens when people leave the country, well companies lose business, and have to downsize, which means that more people leave the country! A little bit of a viscous circle. This makes it an opportune time for people to seek other methods of recession proofing their income.
It also made a great time for the government to provide endorsed opportunities to the public in order to help the longevity of their economy!
This gave rise to the 2nd Annual Direct Selling Festival in Dubai, a collection of business opportunities for people wishing to replace their income. I was there with Kalpesh Patel, a very successful motivational speaker and trainer and together we helped launch Success University in Dubai.
The response was huge!
