The sad reality is however, that if you continue down the same path one of two things will happen. You will either achieve the so called financial independence but be in a place where you are put in responsibility of so much that you now have no time for yourself.

All the cases above however suffer from one thing, the lack of a secure income. If you are working for a company, they can lay you off, management can change, recessions can happen and technology can make you obsolete. It is those that are nieve enough to think it would never happen to them that get stung the hardest…

However loyal you have been to a company, get extremely sick for over two months, and you can imagine how long they will keep paying you for. Not having any backup or plan B, now that is bad planning and an accident just waiting to happen.
